Met Another Member

Took the Spring Race trip to Bristol, had a great time. The bummer was losing My digital camera.

The Great part was meeting another BT3 member. I had the pleasure of meeting and having a short visit with The Ric. He had been waiting in My seats for awhile, and I apoligize for that. I was in the custody of 2 GrandDaughters and they had too much fun. It was a good day. Bill

Bill: I would have to say the pleasure was mine. You were the first BT3 person I have meet in person. I must say I was not disappointed at all in having to wait for you. The worst part of having to wait for you was we didn't get a chance to talk for that long. Maybe sometime in the future will be better. Please say HI to your lovely granddaughters!!

I have pictures of us at the track. Will post them once I get the film developed. Yea, you heard that right, developed ==> NON digital. For keepsake pictures I still believe in film. And the picture of us I'm sure will be a keepsake picture.

Ah, Bristol! Thunder Valley, jet fighters in a gymnasium, etc etc etc. This track used to be part of my "beat" back when I was covering NASCAR for CompuServe, and it was my favorite. In those days they could probably only seat about half as many people as they do now, and even then the post-race traffic was NUTS, worse than any track I've ever been to. Can't imagine what it must be like now.

Larry actually the traffic is better now than ever before. Once I get on 11, in a short time I'm on I81S. That is where it slows down for awhile. There is no racing like Bristol. Rick it would be great to have a Doctor for a Son, but He might want one of My tickete. Bill

You guys should know by now if your going to read a post by DUD you make sure all drinks and food are away from you. There are no sharp object in the area. Your mouth is clean of all fluids and food particles, you have blown your nose. You are well seated in your chair in an upright condition, and both feet are firmly on the ground. If at work make sure the boss is not around. Then and only then can you read what he has to say.
