I used to install waterbeds with my friend. Unless you took a knife and sliced it open - a normal hole or punture by keys or whatever is a very slow leak on a bed. If you push on it - it will be faster of course, but mosk leak pretty slowly. They are heavy - a king being about 700 lbs full - but it is dispersed pretty well. One store actually had the bed set up on a layer of paper cups

matress-sub layer plywood - paper cups -plywood and frame

On another note add this one to brothers (my friends kids)
3 year olds dropping a 2lb weight on top of your 7 year old brother's head will not make him see star's circling around his head - it Will give him a concussion !

The waterbed reminds of when my dad and BIL were trying to drain the waterbed by siphonid it with a water hose from the second floor bedroom window. When it was half empty, they had a bright idea to go ahead and move it downstairs to the outside for the final drain. The water hose is still attached and they did not cap it off. When they start down the stairs, two things happened.

One, the waterbed begins to drain from the water hose and my BIL decides to use his mouth as a stopper.
Two, my dad is on the other side of the waterbed and the waterbed begins to roll on top of him

So seeind water spewing from BILs mouth and a giant blob rolling down the stairs and my dad has no where to go, had to have been one of the funniest experiences of my childhood.

Break fluid and HTH grannual pool chlorine will make chlorine gas which can kill you if you breath it in and it is flamable.
I know that from experience, not the kill part but the flame part.
        just like clorox and ammonia.

I think most of us that lack an engineering degree found it funny!

          Thanks Bill!
