    Served her right

LOML picked up a few things at the grocery store, and had maybe 10 things in her basket, when a cashier was opening another checkout lane. LOML headed to that lane, when another woman, with an overfilled shopping cart actually ran in front of her, trying to get there first. When she accomplished her goal, she turned to my wife and said "Ha ha, I beat you!! LOML was speechless. The woman with the overfilled cart began putting her things on the conveyor belt, when she noticed that in her haste, she grabbed another shopper's cart instead of her own!!! Serves her right.

Those type of RUDE peolpe drive me nuts!!! ... there are the same ones you will try to force their way into the parking spot your waiting to turn into and just waiting for the existing occupant to finish backing out ... makes you wonder what ever happened to common courtesy?

An old lady in a Rolls Royce started to pull into the parking place and a young guy in a Corvette darted in front of her and took the place. Quickly the guy got out of his car and went to the old woman and said "That's what you can do when you're young and fast!". As he was walking away the old woman backed up the Rolls, and stepped on the gas and rammed the Corvette. The guy heard the crash and turned around in time to see the old woman backing up her car again and ramming the Corvette again.

Thew guy said "What are you doing, are you crazy?". The old woman said, "That's what you can do when you're old and rich".

It never ceases to amaze me how inconsiderate the population at large can be.

            Example:

Last week I was on business travel to Pittsburgh. I was staying at a downtown hotel (valet parking only).

When I drove up to the hotel at around 10pm, the valet was not there (parking another car I presumed).

So, I got out of my still running car - opened the trunk - got out my baggage, and waited at the curb at the back of my car - suitcase in hand.

As the valet was walking up to the door - another guest drove up behind me - hopped out of his car, and dashed up to the valet and got his ticket.

            good grief.

Hey Ed, your wife wasn't grocery shopping at Walmart was she? Sounds like this could be the same person Crockett ran into in the parking lot

Sorry, not trying to hijack, just couldn't pass it up

Too bad we can't see how embarrased that woman looked.
