    Murder Mystery

Read this question, come up with an answer and then scroll down to the bottom for the result. This is not a trick question. It is as it reads.

A woman, while at the funeral of her own mother, met a guy whom she did not know. She thought this guy was amazing. She believed him to be her dream guy so much, that she fell in love with him right there, but never asked for his number and could not find him. A few days later she killed her sister.

Question: What is her motive for killing her sister?

[Give this some thought before you answer; see answer below.]

    Answer:

She was hoping the guy would appear at the funeral again. If you answered this correctly, you think like a psychopath. This was used by a famous American psychologist to test if one has the same mentality as a killer.

Many arrested serial killers took part in the test and answered the question correctly.

If you failed to answer this correctly, good for you.

If you did answer the question correctly, please let me know, so I can stay away from you.

Unfortunately, my first thought was that she figured he would show up at the funeral because he was a close friend of someone in the family.

Maybe its not just that SK are psychopathic but they are just of above average intellignece. Then that would put me in a better light.

I also spend an certain amount of time figuring out ways to steal money, but I'm not going to do it. Its a fun mental challenge, though.

My reasoning was: Her sister was an identical twin and the twin had an affair! Un-reasonable motive!

She figured if she did not know the guy, it must have been her sister who invited him, so she offed her to:
        1. Eliminate potential competition.
        2. Be able to rifle through her contacts undisturbed.

Uh-oh. I thought it was either she wanted to meet him again and/or she wanted to eliminate the competition.

I figured she hadn't spoken to her sister for some time, and it was her sister's husband. So she didn't need to ask for the phone number, and would see him unencombered again.

She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

That was a good one. Fortunately, I didn't get it right.

Loring, I think your explaination has some merit. From what I have seen about most serial killers, they are above average intelligence. They are also really demented and have a grasp on different moral and ethics as the rest of us.
