Yes Sir!! I remember them all. Especially The strap, Grandpa had a barber shop, Dad shaved with a straight razor, that strap hung behind the door of the head until he died. He used it for more than the razor, but for me I can say what ever I did to get the strap, I never got caught doing again. Lessons well learned!
It's got to be us, because there are a lot more of them!

I remember a bunch from that list. I remember when pop, coke, soda etc was a treat, we drank water. When we were hiking or backpacking we drank water straight from the creek. No one excercised because life itself was excercise! People still walked places. Later we rode our bikes. We walked to school starting in kindergarden, jr high for me was 2 miles away, we walked and "Snow days" were unheard of!

For all of you who, like me, are of "a certain age" ... if you really want to feel old, cogitate on the fact that in about six more weeks it will be exactly 37 years since The Beatles ...

I don't remember this...but of course I wasn't even a glimmer in my parents eyes yet.....
But I do remember the razor strap that my grandmother used and also the willow switches she made us get when we were in trouble.

I also remember being able to take a note to the store from my grandma asking them to sell me her cigarettes, and they would do it only because they knew her can't do that now.

I remember them all. That's really frightening.

I think I'll stop telling people my age or when I was born.
