If you want a run down of places to stay let me know what price level you are looking for. If you want the best then Wynn, Venetian, Caesars or Bellagio is the nicest on the strip. Caesars has some new towers that are superior to Bellagio IMHO and offer just as good views of the fountains. Wynn is awesome, we stayed for a short 3 night trip. It is a bit far up on the strip and anything north of Wynn gets seedy REAL quick. Bellagio and Ceasars offers better location. Venetian has a nice standard room but it just doesn't stand out in my mind.
Rio worked for us because it was a surprize for my wife and my host took care of everything. We showed up, was gamb00ling it up, I went to the gift shop and got a polo shirt (Rio comped LOL!), went upstairs, got married, went back downstairs and hit the craps table again!
Rio is slightly off strip but they have a free shuttle to any other Harrahs property (Harrahs, Caesars, Flamingo, Paris, Ballys) on the strip. It is generally a little cheaper than everything except Ballys, Flamingo and Harrahs but IMHO those 3 are DUMPS! I think they will demo Harrahs when they take down Imperial Palace and build a new Horseshoe.
So what's the deal? You gamble? High limit/low limit? Get loaded? Sight seeing? How many are in your party? I can make all kinds of recommendations and plans for you. Save you some bucks too! LOL!
I will be there in March/April and again likely in July. HEY! You want a BT3er for your best man?!?!?
