    Screen resolution poll

The "New Look" thread has me wondering, what screen resolution do you use on your computer(s). You may choose more than one if you use more than one computer.

    Uhh... what poll?

In any case, 1280x1024 at work (not that I visit BT3Central at work ) on primary monitor and 1024x768 on secondary. At home it is 1280x1024.

was this supposed to be a poll?

If so, I didn't see the poll selection.

At home I run 1600x1200 60mhz (20" normal aspect lcd)

at work, 1024x768 60Mhz (15" normal aspect lcd)

Apparently vBulletin posts the thread, then takes you to the screen to create the poll. It took me a while to type all those in!

I think that's what it does, yeah. I discovered this while doing my router polls. I soon learned to compose all my choices ahead of time using TextPad, so I could tinker with the wording and check the spelling, then quickly paste them in when actually "assembling" the poll.

My monitors are vertical at work, so I have two 1024x1280s. At home it is dual 1280x1024s. I'll never go higher resolution, unless I can keep two monitors at the higher res. It is just so much easier to get things done.

Otter I know what your talking about!!! I'm called a computer geek all the time and "I" don't have multiple monitors!!! I can't convince the LOML. Recently my monitor died, I'm currently on 1 (one, uno, single, etc) 15" monitor at home.

                              Home: 1280x1024 on a 17" LCD (I want a 20" to run at 1600x1200)

Work: 1600x1200 on a 19" or so CRT (yuck). I don't like CRTs anymore. But it's what they gave me. I'd like a slightly lower res for readability, but in my work, I need all the space I can get.
