    Small gloat

OK, I know they are not the greatest clamps in the world but I have spent $40 before and gotten less in return. I got them off of CL.

    2 - 12", 4 - 24" and 3 - 36"

Are those the clutchless Bessey Tradesman(TM) "F"-clamps?
The movable jaw slides easily when there's no tension but when you tilt it in the direction of closing force it will lock on the toothed inside of the bar.

I like them, I have two handfuls of the 4" ones for jigs and fence clamping, ~$5 each.

Loring, these are the ones you reference. Time will tell if I like them or not. It's just to cold to get in the garage and use them today.

I have 4 of the 24" ones and I love them. You got a heck of a deal for 40 bucks.
