Rod my LOML wants the work bench in the first picture to use as a sideboard in our dinning room. What to you have for her to use as a Hutch for her china?

She is amazed on how clean your shop and the beautiful cabinets and fixtures.

          Thank you.

Maybe this? - but I don't think Carole will part with it (her design)

I printed out a couple pictures of Rod's shop, intending to take them out to my shop to show my shop what it 'should' look like.

Funny thing.... I'd never personally seen an occurance of instantaneous combustion.... till I got about a half step through the door to my shop with them pictures.....

After hours of cleaning mine it doesn't look anything like that but im usually sick like now from all the dang dust. Good thing my cars cant get mad because most of the dust ends up settling on them after it blows out the garage doors.

Obviously it's not, Duh. Haven't you ever heard the expression "it's just for show"....kinda like the "special" towels in the bathroom that are just for show. Clearly this shop is just used for woodworking magazine photo op's. C'mon, have you ever seen Rod show some "work in progress" pics? Never, just the finished product - which is built off site......

......well at least that's what I keep telling myself

I guess it is time Rod re-posts a picture of Larry, Moe, and Curley. It must be my age showing but I do recall seeing pictures of dust in Rod's shop a few times before.

onedash, that's interesting the way you have your clamps hanging on the front of that steel storage shelf unit. I realize you were probably just improvising, but that's a nice idea for making a given amount of floor space do double duty. I'm going to file that thought away, for possible future use.

Rod, in that last pic, what are those things hanging in the upper sections of the cabinet...are those...are they really... humongous-sized forstner bits?

edit : or maybe its the clamps that are miniature-sized?
