My wallet fell out of my back pocket.... splash! Retrieval from a toilet separates the men from the boys! Before the belt comes loose, I always check that my wallet is secure before impact with the seat.

I can't recall the many times I have taken the sink trap loose for the stuff my wife has dropped in it.

I never have dreamed of being a plumber.

When I was in my early teens, I dropped my comb into the toilet. I had just hit the flush handle and was pullling up my pants when the comb fell out of the back posket. While my father was not at all happy with me, I remember he didn't loose his cool either. (God bless him!).

Years later my son managed to drop something in the toilet, I honestly don't remember what it was. But I do remember that I managed to remain fairly calm about it, though probably not nearly as graceful as my Dad.

There is an old Clifton Webb "Mr. Belvadere" movie (back in the 40's I believe) in which he proclaimed that, "The Bath is NOT a social event!". I guess I'm one of the few people who deem it to be not a proper room for anything other than personal calls of nature and hygiene. Personally, I don't like "the room" and get in and out ASAP. I'd much prefer to do my reading almost anywhere else.
