    Inventory program

I thought a while back there was a thread on "Home Inventory Programs" I have just done a search but came up empty.

    Looking for suggestion.

    Thanks in advance,

I have seen programs for that, but I made a spreadsheet for My Tools with s/n purchase date and price. We also have one for our home items, We got that program from my insurance company. We also have pictures of all the rooms, and pictures of inside jewelry box, etc. These are on CD's and stored in safety deposit box. Bill

If you have Excel, go Microsoft Office site and download your choice of templates at:

I use a program called Frostbow. A free trial version can be downloaded at http://frostbow.com/products/home_inventory.shtml

            It is a nice program.

The State Farm Insurance web site includes a learning center with a page of tips on home inventory:
              http://www.statefarm.com/learning/lo...inventory1.asp

That page also has a link to free inventory software--PC only, and I'm a Mac user, so I don't know anything about it.
