I cut myself this weekend. Just a minor cut but something else to watch for.
I have the BD4600 stationary disk/belt sander.
The disk is a 6" PSA. After not having used it for a while I found it had come loose. I pressed it back on and it appeared to stick. I used the disk sander part for a while and the pressure of sanding I assumed help stick the sanding disk to the disk. I used the belt then and the disk came flying off and sort of floated down. I found it and reattached it. Now I used the belt again and this time the disk came flying off and hit my finger and I got a quarter-inch cut on the cuticle of my ring finger. It hit pretty hard and I realized how stupid I was sticking it back on and expecting it to stay while leaning over it.
