    New Toy Gloat

New Toyota Tacoma 4x4 that is...

Woke up Saturday to find out that the back window to my Dodge had been busted out. My LOML and I had been discussing getting rid of it and trading in for something a little better on gas. I was going to have to change out the tires on it too at some point also. I had the Dodge Ram with the 20 inch wheels on it, something about the snow up here is different than in Oklahoma, all it would do is slide around even with 600lb of sand in the back. It used to do good on Oklahoma ice.
So, taking into consideration the money spent on tires and wheels, then having to dish out the cash for the back window, figured it was time to go and trade it in, it was cheaper to pay the tax, title and license on a new one rather than fix and replace all the other stuff on the Dodge.
Not to mention the Dodge was too big to fit in the garage at the same time as my wife's truck. So I stopped procrastinating and did it.

Gonna miss the Dodge, but the new Tacoma is pretty sweet.

Worse part about it, is my wife kept saying Merry Christmas on the way back from the dealer. D@mn it, I guess I'll have to wait now for my B-day for that spindle sander!

Well as soon as I find the box with the digital camera in it, I'll put them up along with all the other stuff "that didn't happen".

I've only been married 3 yrs but for me that translates as 'I haven't figured out a way to say no yet.'

I really like it, my wife's is the Double Cab (4 door), we've had it for over a year now and it's really a great truck. That's the reason for me buying the second from my impression of the first.

Been with my wife for 12 years, 10 married. "We'll see" translates to haven't figured out a reason to say no, she just needs a little convincing.

I'll be glad to talk to her for you!
