    Newbie introduction

Hi Folks. I've been browsing the forums for 2 or 3 weeks now, and thought it was time to introduce myself.

Although I've been around this world a lot longer than I have left, I think I qualify as a rank beginner. But I do have a few tools! I have a BT3K, a DeWalt 621 plunge router, a DeWalt 733 thickness planer, a DeWalt 706 compound miter saw, a Delta 29-195 band saw, and a DeWalt 682 biscuit cutter. Of course there are also some other tools, such as circular saws, sanders, etc. This does NOT mean I know a lot about using most of them, or woodworking in general. I have tinkered with them, building easy projects.

I'll have a lot of questions, but very few answers. Glad to find a good site to visit.

Nice set of tools you got there Ed. Here's to putting them to use for many more years!

I mentioned that I don't necessarily know that much about using some of my toys. This is the one I'm most unfamiliar with. It's mounted on the BT3K, and so far I like what it's done. No complaints yet, but I need to learn more about using it.
