    Concealed weapon

I think the headline says it all: "Naked man arrested for concealed weapon"

    http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/...8L62G1G0.shtml

I'm glad not to have had to be the one to "disarm" this guy...

The mind boggles at the possible responses....

Couldn't one perforate one's bowel that way?

At least the tool was cordless...

Well I don't know if he could have pierced anything, he might have but he was smart enough to wrap it in black electrical tape . I bet the officers will be talking about that one for a long time...and maybe even using it for training purposes

Correct on both counts. A high-school friend of mine's Dad was a state trooper. They arrested one man (not nude) who had a small flashlight up there. Upon investigation they discovered the flashlight had been doctored. Once the bulb was unscrewed there were several bags of drugs in it.

          prostitute

When I was with MARFORCARIB getting ready to go to Haiti we practiced Non Combatant Evacuation Operations all the time and they told us that a prostitute in LA wasn't searched good enough when she was arrested and she pulled out a 357 Magnum and shot the police officer from the back seat. .

I suppose that could have been a lie to drive home the point but who knows.

I was listening to Horward Stern this morning and during the news they covered this story, except that Robin pronounced it "owl" instead of its proper pronunciation. Thus the story evolves into this guy sticking a wooden carved owl up his rectum. I'm thinking "She has to mean awl". Later in the day someone called into the wrap up show and advised that she meant awl instead of owl. Quite a "hoot".

Now that is beyond stupid. If you go to all the trouble to hide the drugs in a something as inconspicious as a flashlight, stashing it up your butt is a dead giveaway something is wrong with it. I mean, I usually have a small flashlight in my bag - and not once, even at airports, have anyone bothered to check it.

I should have added that the point was to cuff them behind the back and females were required to be searched by females and also had to squat a few times. Guess that dislodges things that are in places they don't belong.

Was that .357 in her..? Oh never mind.

In Houston about 2 months ago an illegal immigrant resident was pulled over and had some outstanding warrants. The officer did not search him thoroughly enough and handcuffed the guy and locked him in the back of the squad car. The guy pulled out the gun from his wiastband and fatally shot the office in the front seat. Then had to wait until the other officers arrived and found him still locked in the back seat. What the **** was he thinking?

Oh, I don't know, it sounds like he was thinking, only with a brain ill-equiped for the task at hand.

Well, if the awl was inserted with a point facing out, maybe it was a preventive measure against getting gang-banged by well, you know who on his late night park 'stroll'?

I think the fix for this problem is when police need to search an individual, to make them drop their pants, bend over and sneeze,
