I have the honor of being the dad of the most wonderful boy in the universe who can light up a room and your heart with his sparkling eyes and his smile.

My parents were very forward-thinking -- they gave me my internet username decades before there was an internet.

If you think I've given up any anonymity by using my real name, look it up in your phone book. It's almost as good as being unlisted.

      Regards,
      Tom

Well, well, well. It seems mine was the best planned and well thought out. lcm are my initials and 1947 was the year I was born but I bet you guys figured that out already. Actually, when I first had to use one I couldn't think of anything else that I'd remember since I felt I'd only be getting online rarely. Boy was I wrong. Anyway, the rest is history.

My first name is Tom, but Slick isn't my last name. I like the old cartoon "Tom Slick" so I adopted it for my screen name.

I had been lurking, and decided to post before I bought my BT, and since I has switched to Linux, and was also trying to let it be known (for anyone thinking of writing woodworking software), I thought it would be usefull. Then my name.

Well, I married a NUT, Black wallnut that is. And when I became a member of this forum I wanted something that was good, and Mark suggested this name and that was it.

Always a few Chris's wherever I worked, but only one "Chris D."

BTW, did you know that Shadowfox and I have the same first and last names?

CB handle laid on me when I first started driving a truck after retirement from Uncle's canoe club. I wasn't very creative and neither were the other drivers sitting in cold rain waiting to be loaded in Southern MI. Pat

I had a parrot named Max a number of years ago. So he became my online identity.

As most Scorpios, I tend to believe in the occult, the unnatural - including astrology. As most Scorpios, I think my zodiac sign is the coolest - most mysterious and unpredictable. As most Scorpios, I like to use my sign for my name - hence 2 r's, cause single 'r' Scorpio is almost always taken.

It has been said that to be obsessed with something is to be "infected by the god" of that thing. Thus the priest portion of the username. Can you guess with what I am obsessed?? I was first told it was 3D graphics, and my team had me ordained as a minister (ULC, a bit blasphemous, but funny). When they saw me play a show, they decided that 3D graphics was the lesser obsession.
