Besides all the money spent on tools that would have bought at least 3 of everything I've managed to make so far....
Some hate finishing, all the sanding, application, etc. I actually enjoy that.
Making a few Adirondack chairs. Rough cut to size over 80 pieces, all marked by part number. Bunch thrown into the burn pile sine the wood is no good for anything. Joint one edge and one face. Then run all 80+ through the planer, anywhere from 2-5 passes each because rough cut red cedar is so variable in width and thickness. Finally ready to get on with the building! What I wouldn't give for nice S4S dimensional lumber!
So, what do you dislike the most?????

What I do hate is finishing-so time consuming and sometimes strange results!
My view of woodworking; it is all a mental exercise from the initial idea, to designing, to how to do it! What a great way to keep your "gray cells" working.
