    Teens and "camel toads"

If your teen suddenly develops an interest in amphibians or cleave-footed quadripeds you might want to check it out further:

Boy that's a new one. In my day the bikini was just comming into style and were nothing like todays. Any type of two piece bathing suit was pretty radical.
But this was int the early 60's and thing were just starting to change.

"Please let me know what camel toads are and how I might be able to tell if he is smoking, taking, or licking them."

Hoo boy ... I think I'll just let that one go, it'd be waaaaay too easy.

From my searches on this subject, I found a faint mention of "camel toads" of a certain type that lives in or near the desert, and hops, by pushing off with the rear legs, while croaking and spitting. The single humper is more prevalent. The double humper camel toad is not meant for riding because they are too close to the ground, and their legs crush too easily.

          That is too funny.
Can't remember what show or movie it was on recently, a 12 YO girl was always wearing super tight sweats and the kids nicknamed her camel toe. It took me a minute. That was a new one on me also.

Hilarious article. The movie was "The Weatherman" with Nick Cage.

There is actually a website specifically based on spottings. Can't lookup the link right yet, buts it's a funny site, also women aren't the only ones that can get them.

Maybe because of hanging around my grandparents generation more, or maybe because I am somewhat of a history buff, but "thing were just starting to change"?
Things changed long before that, swimsuits used to cover most of the legs. Now we even have suits like the monokini (spring held on bottom, pasty tops). And haven't yet got to (but we are headed that way) where you will see more topless women at public beaches.
Between smaller suits, better nutrition, harmones in food, etc, things are happening earlier and earlier.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

Not to be a party pooper, but keep in mind this is a public forum. I guess ya-all don't want to talk about the "camel toads" in the desert. Even if you haven't seen 'em they are cute little critters. Make good eatin'. Taste like chicken.

Jeff I agree with You as being out of the ordinary, I wouldn't have known what camel-toads looked like either. I talked to a great nephew, He told Me about the site spoken of earlier. He is 17 and when I need a younger point of view, I call Him. Interesting, Bill

Yup - I read it. Now what? Thought I'd broaden the interpretation a bit. Nothing like dry humor in my book. I would have elaborated on it but didn't think the hammering would be worth it. Besides, I've got a nasty reputation that I can't always live by.
