    Life is grand!!

    Checked the mail today...nothing.
I get home and there on the table is double glory.
New Lee Valley tools catalog and my first issue of FWW.

    wooohooo.

BTW if you haven't got the catalog yet, LV has 1/6 HP motor on sale at stores only for $39 CDN

Also, they have put all the turning products into a new catalog to be out very soon.

Brian, did you happen to subscribe to FWW thru Magazine Surplus?
I did and am getting 'antsy' about them.

Brian, you're easy to satisfy - one magazine and a catalog (OK, well it was LV). Most of us would take a new tool at a bargain price to make that happy!

        No, I subscribed direct online.

Loring, I should have mentioned the reason I was excited to get the mag is now that I have my acct# I can get me website subscription and get plans from the back issue archives.
I want the router fence plan from #144 by Pat Warner. It's there but I was never able to get at it.

Ken, sadly, Magazine Surplus appears to be a scammer. LOML subscribed for me back in late July. Recently she made telephone contact with FWW; They do business with many 3rd party order takers, but have never heard of Mag Surplus (whose site is no longer available) and have no record of my order.

Guess I'll just put it down to an eager visceral response to what really seemed too good to be true...and was.
