Yesterday I was talking about the remote, She just did that out of meaness, or to get a good laugh, I'm not sure.
This is the real person I married almost 42 years ago. When I had My accident in 1995, Our income was cut by 2/3 or more, and expenses multiplyed. She worked Her regular job at the bank, got off at 5:00 P.M. came home to check on Me and eat. She then went to Wally world and worked 6:00 P.M. till 11:00 P.M. and got in the maximum hours for a part-time person every week.
She arranged to be off at work whenever I needed to see a Doctor, if We got back in time She would go into the bank and work. Then on to Wally world. She kept this up for 3 years, before I was able to help Her a little. It took 3 years to get My disability SS started, it took 3 years to sue the Guy's Insurance Co. that caused the accident. It took 3 years for My underinsured motorist to kick into the pot.
By the time We paid Lawyers and Medical expenses, We were about even with the World, We owed as many as We didn't. So We started over, when most people are working toward retirement, We were just working , I mean She , to get back on Our feet. I really don't know what I would have done without Her. She has always been there for Me. She can have the remote. Bill
