    Future Wood Worker?

    Thought I would share this with you guys. This morning Mark and our oldest son Richard were out in the shop making a stool for Richard, for him to use where he needed to. He came in and was proud of his stool and so I thought I would take some pictures of it and show that off and I think the new high chair and Thomas are in the picture as well.




    and here is the side view of it. He got to use the BS and spindle sander.

    Mrs. Wallnut a.k.a (the head nut).

      Fine looking work! And the stool is pretty good too! Is it true the boys take after Mom instead of Dad?

      All kidding aside, he has a stool to be proud of.

              Great looking stool, looks like a matching piece. Bet it's sturdy. Have him develop good methods for workmanship and safety. They're never too young for that.

                  Looks as if Richard ls giving an out-standing performance in the "present tense"! I built a gun rack in HS shop around 1963 that didn't look as good as his work.

                  Highest regards to the young man on effort and result.

                      She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

                          That was GREAT! Start them young and they will understand work ethics and take pride in their workmanship.
