      I got the new Ridgid Router from HD. No surprise, as I got to pick it out myself, and will wind up paying the bill.

      Still, it was nice that SWMBO let me get it. Now, I can get rid of the Skil router, and keep the cheap Craftsman in the router table until I can replace it too.

        No gift, but something even better to me. Never had kids of my own, but LOML did (in her previous existence). Got a Father's Day card from "my" new grandson (see my picture) First one I ever received! I was thrilled! Yeah, I know - I'm tecnically his "step-grandfather." But I loved it!

          Sounds to me like you got the best FD gift of all!

          Watching #2 son play baseball tonight I was reminded again of why I love being a parent. Sometimes we wonder what we did for entertainment before we had children.
