I am re-reading volume 1 and have started on volume 2. I just finished the Stu Unger Story. What a waste of pure talent.

I play at the no fold-em hold-em tables when waiting for a seat to open at a sit n go. Lee Jones book helped me there. You sit bored out of your mind for two or three hours then hit a monster. Besides, the bad beat jackpot in Hollywood was over 100k last time I was down there. I have watched people buy in for and lose $500 bucks over a few hours at the 2 anytime hold-em table.

Unger was scary brilliant as many troubled folks are.

I have read Vol 1 and 2 a few times all the way through but I still read a chapter almost daily. Very few days that I don't read a chapter or two. In my opinion this is the greatest series ever written. And Amazon has my Vol III in the mail! Just a workbook, but I find the sample problems very helpful. Also got the new

I have not read the Lee Jones book, instead I read Small States Hold'Em by Miller, Malmuth and Skalansky. I keep it in the 2 + 2 family! LOL! It was a great low stakes limit book, but I haven't played a lot of low stakes limit.
