    Something nice happening on Woodnet

    Here:

    http://www.forums.woodnet.net/ubbthr...=&fpart=1&vc=1

If you aren't registered and wish to contribute email or PM me via the forum and I will get you in touch with the right people.

Also, I know Woodnet has had a repuation as a pretty rowdy place. Recently some new rules were put in place and the troublemakers either left or were banned. You can get some pretty good info there.

Wow, that is not the Woodnet that I remember! A definite change for the good.

WOW! That is a switch. A very welcome switch, I might add.

I agree with You Bill, I have been going over ocassionally to look around. I read the post by the Moderator, apparently it did some good. I'm proud that it has changed. Bill

Looks like it's time to start visiting there again.

yes, it has improved quite a bit over the past few months. the mods have done a great job in reining in, or banishing, a persistant group of troublemakers. it's still not as friendly and forgiving as here - but it is better.

I read the post on Woodnet and sat here with the tears streaming down my face, I guess I'm just an ol' "softie" at heart.

It's such a pleasure to read of the generousity of others, especially WoodWorkers, regardless of which Forum they're a member of.

Those kind of gestures don't happen every day, with a little work that could turn out to be a story worth publishing in one of the Newspapers.
