Yesterday as my Brother and I ate lunch, I saw a guy that looked very familar. There were several in the party and I asked one of them his name, it was who I thought it was. We served together 42 years ago at Shaw AFB, S.C., after serving 2 TDY's in Vietnam together, He was sent to Roswell N.M. and I went to Vietnam for a year. It is indeed a small world as he has moved to Jonesboro, we have some catching up to do. Bill

One thing about moving on up in age is all the memories that are there. Then in those unexpected moments one comes back with a blessing! Congratulations Bill, on meeting an old friend again.

Good for you. Bud. I still often wonder what ever happened with some of the guys I served with. It would certainly be a stroke of luck to meet one of them again. Git some catchin up done, Bill.
Have fun.LeeComment

Far as amall world goes, check this out.
A girl from Chelyabinsk, Russia, who is a friend of my wife, came to visit USA, and was staying with us. While taking her out sightseeing to Manhattan, we took subway to Grand Central - probably the largest and most crowded mass transit station in the world.
And there, on the platform, we ran into this girl's classmate, who also happened to be on a tourist visit to U.S.
Would you imagine that?Comment
