How was this mug tree made?

Not that I am making one - just curious...

The starting series of the Router Workshop. Smaller projects show that many of the techniques can be applied to both small and large projects.

I saw them do one on their show. Sliding dovetails, but I don't remember how the heck it's put together.
But I will, you just made me spend 4 bucks, jarhead! I have to find out how.
      THANKS! :-D

              A different type of dovetail

Here are some picts of hand cut dovetails that look impossible to put together in the first picture.

AHHHH. That is the way it goes together.
