    Swissbit rebate

i think the memory is going.

Today in the mail I got a $30 rebate from Swissbit. I'm thinking, what tool did I buy made by swissbit? The rebate check is accompanied by a one line "Thanks for buying your Swissbit product!"

So I'm racking my brains, is it a drill bit, router bit, what?

So finally I look up the web page for swissbit and I see that they make memory gizmos and it dawns on me that in January I bought this 512 MB memory stick that is part of a small swiss army knife (the memory is removable fom the knife part so you can take it on a plane). It was like $50 with a $30 rebate. So the knife and the 512MB memory was ~$20 net.

    Duh.

Nothing like being surprised with extra money in your pocket - even if you can't remember how it got there!

      Loring,

Do you remember where you got it? Is the rebate still available. This is not a memory quiz.

      We call it "Sometimers" here.

Isn't that the reason you bought the memory?
