    No Water

I washed a load of dishes, a load of towels, took a shower at noon. We had plenty of water. GrandDaughter wants to wash off deck after school, very little water. I check all faucets inside and out, same problem, just a drizzle of water.
I called CW&L, They sent a man out, He surmised that the meter reader accidently turned it off, He was in this area this afternoon.

Gave Me quite a scare, Bill

"Accidentally" turned it off? This would require (at minimum) a 90-degree turn of a ball valve handle or a square corp stop knob with a wrench suited to the task. Doesn't sound like an accident. Probably intentionally turned it off (though I can't imagine why) and "accidentally" left it that way.

Had the same problem one time with the power company in a apartment complex. I called them and they said he was in the area to turn off power to someone else and must have turned mine off by accident. Then went onto to tell me he wouldn't be back in the area again until tomorrow morning to correct the accident. Dead summer night and no AC, somehow or the other it "accidentally" found it's way back on during the night.

That was a bummer. At least you got the problem solved quickly.
