    Gotta love her....

I mentioned to my wife yesterday that Woodcraft was still running the 40% off on the K-body clamps. We were at Lowes and I was showing her the cost of them there.
I was quickly shot down without even asking if I could get any, with all that I spent last week putting in some cabinets in the shop, basically feeling like I was never going to see them at this price.

Long story short as a surprise she is on her way home w/ 6 of the 40".

Well as soon as she got home with them I put'em to use on a carcus I was building. You can do it with a F-style, but it's smooth as silk with the K-body style. These things are worth the $44.00 a piece, but it's shocking to get them at $27 after using them today.

I highly recommend them to anyone considering them.

Working with Bessey K-body clamps (or similar parallel-jaw models, from other manufacturers) is one of those things that has to be experienced first-hand to fully appreciate. Until you've used them, it's hard to grasp what all the fuss is about.

But OTOH, David J Marks builds some truly amazing stuff on WoodWorks, and all without a K-Body clamp in sight ...

It's a workout, though. Swing a few K-bodies around in the morning and you can skip the free-weight workout in the gym in the afternoon.

He11, I can skip the workout, even without the clamps...

Does anyone have the ad listing the sale? The local store is sold out and doesn't do rainchecks but I'll be the Rockler or Lowes will honor the ad if I can get my hands on one.
