Missed #1 and #10. I don't think that those shows were on when I was old enough to remember much TV trivia. My earliest TV memory was the Ford-Carter debate, and I've been trying to forget it ever since.

Missed #1 (not old enough), #7 (got confused with their instant coffee commercials), second half of #10, and drew a blank on #13.

          14/15 - Not that old....

I'm 29 and also only missed number 10.

I remember watching the Lone Ranger (and B&W Superman, etc.) on a UHF channel out of St. Cloud as a kid. Probably would have missed that if we had cable then as this was before the whole Nick at Nite oldies.

            Oy!

I got 'em all....Guess that means I'm really old and/or I have too much time on my hands.

St. Louis trivia note: Red Skelton got his start on the Goldenron Showboat (docked in St. Louis) in a song and dance act with his father.

I know waaaaaaaay too much about showboats.....

              I got them ALL!
I didn't even have to think about most of them, the answer was just there.

I guess that says that I'm old, with a pretty much in tact memory.

I hope that doesn't change over the next few years.

almost all, and I'm a yungin!

I got all except #10. Keep hearing about this kooky fellow, but never saw him. Maybe his reruns were only shown in the south or sumthin?

well, that makes 14 of 15 - and I was born in '72! Does that make me old, or just observant?

Red Skelton's show was a good one. Right up there with Carol Burnett and Dean Martin's shows. I kinda liked Sonny and Cher too. Mostly Cher

Same here, except substitute 36 for 29, and Washington, DC for St. Cloud.

I only missed the first half of #10. My parents didn't let me watch that show because it was "kind of naughty." The way they hooped hollered and laughed pretty much convinced me that being "kind of naughty" was alot of fun.

Oppps, missed first half of # 10. Clem Kadiddlehopper came to mind instead of Freddy Freeloader.

As for some of you "youngins" who knew most of the answers, congrats! 39 and 26? Some of us "old timers" have power tools, that we bought new ourselves, that are older then that! But still, you're right, you must have been pretty observant when growing up.

Now #13, is only 1/3d correct. Not only did Buddy Holly die, but so did Richie Valens, and the Big Bopper. They died in a plane crash just outside of Clear Lake, Iowa February 2, 1959. Waylan Jennings gave up his seat to Richie Valens, and the rest is history. They were enroute to Fargo, North Dakota to do a concert at the National Guard Armory in Moorhead, Minnesota, which is just across the river from Fargo. I used to go to dances there, way back when.

Took longer for someone to mention the other two in the crash than I thought it would. The answer is correct, though, it was done as a tribute mainly to Holly.

BTW, I got them all, too, but I know I'm old!
