Johnathan Dean Thurston (born 25 April 1983 in Brisbane, Queensland) is an Australian professional rugby league player who currently plays for and captains the North Queensland Cowboys in the National Rugby League competition. A two-time Dally M Medal and Wally Lewis medalist, he has also represented Queensland and Australia.
