I found out about an obscure procedure for an Early Out for college- up to 90 days, put in for it and got out in Sept instead of Dec of 1969. I didn't go to college then, but did in the mid 70's and got my BS- paid for by both the GI Bill and another Grant fund from my employer that was exclusive from Veterans status. This legal 'double dipping" resulted in me making money by going to college. I couldn't afford not to go !!!
