Rockler glue brush - vs - Betty Crocker Basting Brush

In this corner, we have the Rockler Glue Brush, champion of woodworkers all over, known for it's distinctive "Rockler Blue" design.

And in this corner, we have the challenger, the Betty Crocker Basting Brush, the darling of cooks everywhere, entering the woodworking ring to become the heavyweight gluing champion of the world!

    (DING! DING!)

    Okay, seriously,

Both bristles were cut down to about 3/8" to 1/2". Both brushes worked great at spreading the glue around. I let glue dry overnight on both brushes. The glue peeled off both brushes fine, but surprisingly, the Betty Crocker brush did just a mite better.

Here's why I'm posting this review: The Rockler brush costs $3.99 plus shipping. I bought the Betty Crocker brush at the local dollar store (Dollar Tree) for $1, no shipping.

Might be well worth to gamble on dollar store brushes. It was for me.

(couldn't figure out how to make the image display instead of a link. I read the FAQ, just didn't get it. Sorry for links instead of pics)
