We're going backwards. Back in versions 3 and 4 of vBulletin we had the ability to collapse the categories of channels. This option went away with version 5 in 2016 and at that time we flattened the structure of the site to have the following categories Discussions, Site Information, and Archives and threw all the current channels under the discussions category.
9 years later, this option has returned and the site has been recategorized. You can collapse/expand a category by clicking on the -/+ in the category title bar.
