I normally would not post pictures of rough turned blanks but you guys have got so see this grain! I forget what the wood was other than it is from Australia so I will have to go back and look it up. This blank was totally sealed in wax and was a dark brown. After roughing it down, now look at it! Amazing grain but it is still wet so it will be about 3 months before I can show you what I have in mind for it.
