I was able to turn a couple of bowls recently. The first one is in Sycamore, 90mm (3.5") tall and 245mm (9.5") in diameter:

Finished with cellulose sanding sealer, followed by wax.

The second is in Cedar of Lebanon, 110mm (4.25") tall and 230mm (9") in diameter. This one came out a little "chunkier" than I originally intended, due to the bark incursions. The one in the base is quite large and I didn't want to risk blowing the bottom out. The one in the rim you can see daylight through!

Sanding sealer applied, final finish to be decided yet.

Thanks for looking
Ray.
