A Pen and Pencil set today

The wood is mahogany from a 1974 Boston Whaler. The kits are Polaris from PSI.

The picture was taken with my new lighting set up, I like it much better than the flash I was using.

Dick, very nice looking pens. I like that kit and may have to try it myself. Nice job on the taper and the fit. Very professional looking product there. I also like your new lighting. I am still struggling with mine as sometimes being too much of a perfectionist can really be a pain.

This is a very rough prototype that I am working with but think I am ready to build the real thing now.
The lighting is from 3 19W, 75W equivilent, daylight fluorescent bulbs in reflectors. Shooting is done with the flash turned off, the camera on a tripod and in aperature priority mode.

Please excuse how crude the prototype looks.

Now that I know what will work I hope to start on the final lighting system version this weekend. I'll post pictures when it is done.
