    Nice bill, interested to see how you do the hollowing. Do you do anything special to the base that will still have the pith in there to prevent future cracking?

      Thanks Jon. For the hollowing, I'm going to try that long carbide hollowing tool I made in video 33, captive in the tool rests I fabbed in video 36, and see how that works. The nice thing about camphor is that it is not prone to splitting/cracking for some reason, likely the low water content and high oil content. This branch was pretty dry to start with, so I don't believe I'll need to do anything to the base to prevent splitting.
