Jet Mini VS mod to make it reversable?

I heard that one of the guys at Evergreen Woodturners sells a 3 way switch kit mod for the Jet Mini 1014VS to make it reversable for around $15 bucks. They will be at the Seattle Woodworking Show on April 8th-10th and I will check it out and let you know. [8D]

Ya know Scott, when I first converted my big lathe to a DC motor I fooled around with the reverse on the controller box. All I can say is make sure any accessory you have screwed in is locked with a set screw or by some other means. Man that will unscrew a chuck quick!

Innocent/ignorant question from a non-turner: why would you want/need to run a lathe in reverse?

Sanding mostly larry, it would also be nice when I hook the MDF honing disks I made to it.
