BOW Cigar and European

The Cigar (on the left)has typical pattern in the BOW. The first couple I posted earlier were 'extra' blanks that came with the 10 I ordered so I used them in case I messed them up. I'm just getting into the pretty stuff now.

Great grain, beautiful pens Ken. Can you 'splain BOW for a rookie? Is that the type of wood? If not.. what wood is that?

Joe,
BOW is Bethlehem Olive Wood. It's collected from the prunings of the Olive Trees that grow in and around Bethlehem. BOW blanks come with a little 'Certificate of Authenticity' that it is indeed from Bethlehem, and that no trees were harmed in the harvesting.
Supposedly, and hopefully, folks like to purchase BOW items around Easter and Christmas.
LOML says I can't keep all the pens I make, and she actually expects me to sell some of them.
