    Cocobolo Cigar

My first time working cocobolo, I like it! The pic doesn't do the wood justice.
    Comments/Critiques always appreciated.
    Thanks for looking,

I used to think that making pens with a lathe was a waste of time. Maybe not!

Beautyful! I really like Cocobolo. It machines and finishes great, and there is quite a variety in colors and sometimes astonishing figure.

Nice looking pen, Ken. I know what you mean about cocobolo. It never takes a good picture for me but when I'm close enough to write with it, its awesome. I made a polaris pen with my son at Christmas using cocobolo and there was a figure of a man's face in the turned blank. My son loves it.

I have been doing ring cups out of cocobolo. The stuff polishes up so nice! If you can buff it you will be amaized at the glass like finish you can develop!
