    Todays Turnings With A Story

    I have been turning pens from re-cycled Boston Whaler mahogany for Whaler owners for some time. My local Boston Whaler dealers top salesman was invited to Costa Rica for a fishing vacation by Boston Whaler, the second year in a row. He ordered some pens to take and pass out to the Boston Whaler people that will be there.

    Here is what I turned today, the finish is darker than the picture shows. The wood is mahogany from a 1974 Boston Whaler seat.
