    Optimus-Desire

This is a new all stainless steel kit made in the USA. I wrapped it in Black & Blush Mokum M3 blank.

Very nice Dick. I have some Desire's ordered. Should have them any day now. I am toying with the idea of making my own mokume blanks. I had a background in the real "mokume" for enough time to want to design and make my own.

I am two or three days away from my DC system working. The "Desire" pens will probably be the first pens for me to make in two years! I am ready to get back to making some.

Experience is what you get when you don't get what you wanted!

I like the looks of that kit. Your choice of blank and turning, as always is great.

In cleaning up and organizing my new shop (still), I realized that I have wayyy too many kits and blanks to be getting more. But I have to admit I'm curious. What do you mean by real Momkume blanks? Steel, or resin like the M3s are?

I'd be interested in the process. The M3s are just way too $$ for my taste.
