Nova Precision Midi Chuck - Discontinued?

I saw on Lee Valley's website, they have all of the Teknatool chucks & accessories on sale & marked "discontinued". I did look at Craft Supplies & they also have Teknatool on sale, but, not marked discontinued. Has anyone heard any news? Is Teknatool going out of business? Or might this just mean Lee Valley is not going to carry Teknatool any longer.

I have two questions about the chucks. First, I've been looking at chucks for a while & was wondering (other than price) if there is a big difference between the performance Midi Chuck & the G3. I understand the midi is lever operated & the G3 has the key. Second, I have a Wilton mini lathe. Would the Novas be too much weight (3 lbs), or, should I look at the Barracuda Micro chuck (~1 lb).

I have both a Nova midi and a Barracuda micro and like both of them. I have used both of them on a Jet 1014 and a 1220 and really liked the barracuda micro the best for pens, stoppers etc. If you go for the barracuda get the keyed one, you won't regret spending the extra money. I don't know anything about the Nova G3 but I do use a Super Nova 2 on my Nova DVR and as with the Nova midi the quality is excellent.
