    Back To Pens

After completing the wine cart, I returned back to the lathe. I turned these two over the weekend. I took them to work to show them off today and sold both.

The first is a copper cigar pen in Mediterranean Wave AA,

The next is a gold Baron wrapped in Bocote.

    Thanks for looking.

Great looking pens! The bocote looks a little like rosewood. Like it.

I am getting ready to start making pens in the next couple of weeks or so, if I get the time, and the weather warms a bit.

I did my first turning in just about two years today. I made a handle for a soon-to-be received Woodchuck Pro. Made it out of pecan cut 5 years ago. Except for one chisel, I can't find my others. Still packed somewhere!

Both look great Richard. I like that blue blank on the cigar - did you have to paint your tubes?

Thanks for the kind comments guys. It felt good having the shavings fly again. When ever I turn an acrylic, I always paint the tube. I use a craft paint.
