    The cutting has begun

    I've got round to cutting some blanks from some of the stock I brought back from Wales.


    I've separated the burr from the chestnut log, plus cut some bowl blanks from some of the oak. I'm still thinking about how best to slice the walnut. The bandsaw is doing well!

        That is my most favoritest kind. We do have this over here as well. The color consistancy and texture of it varies wildly though.
