Here are some turnings from last week.
Double edge razor wrapped in Alternate White Marble, Mach 3 razor wrapped in Lignum Vitae and a Roman Harvest pen wrapped in Banded Malachite Tru-Stone.

Beautiful as always, Dick. I like that little dachshund you use to prop up the pen.

      Thanks Gerti.
This is a Dachshund household so I thought that would be a great prop when I saw it. Here are Murphy & Puffin.

Dick, they're great - especially like the color of that banded malachite tru-stone. I haven't tried the tru-stone yet, and have been wondering how it "feels" when turning compared to acrylic.

Bill, it is much harder than acrylic. Very sharp tools and light cuts are the way to go. I use a Woodchuck PenPro carbide tool from start to finish and it cuts with no problem.
