    Vancouver Island Maple Burl

After a long absence from the lathe, I turned this one last night. A fellow turner in Nanaimo BC sent the blank and I matched it with a black titanium round top euro kit from William Wood-write. Finished with three coats of blo/thin ca, and another ten layers of blo/ medium ca. This was made for a special aunt who is coming from England today for a visit. Thanks for looking.

THAT pen does not go into a shirt pocket!

It should stay right there in the display position. That is a work of art sir; thanks for sharing a beauty with us.
