I had to laugh when I read comments Ken. They are unusually different. I wanted to make the pencil larger than the pen so you could hold it in your hand and notice the difference. Well they really turned out different and I didn't compare the pencil before I took it off the lathe. Oops. I did pick up a sugesstion from Doug on the penturners forum. He suggested I turn both tops at the same time. And likewise both bottoms. Then I can have both beside each other to compare. I'm still learning.

and I am about to reorder. I have been practicing over the holidays and everybody keeps stealing them. Especially LOML. They have some kits called Polaris which I like. They are a little like the Atlas or Cigar.

I know what you mean, it seems like LOML gives away more pens than I sell. As long as it makes her happy and I get all the shop time I want I'm not going to complain.
