    The Long Click Pen

This pen is wearing a semi-local invasive shrub that is primarily in the Western side of WA but can be found in the Panhandle of Idaho called "Scotch Broom".

Didn't have time to dip the pen in my Waterborne Polyurethane so this is four coats of Med. CA and buffed with Brasso.

The sap wood is yellow and the reflection is like deep pools of sunlight.

Very nice figure and depth to the grain for an "invasive shrub". Nicely done.

Thanks everyone. I wish I had more of this wood.

This pen found a new home in Boise as it was presented to a DM there for regional meetings ...

I seem to find people who like 'Click' style pens and I see PSI has a new variant of the Cigar in a click version.
